Barratt wine, South Australia
Lindsay and Carolyn Barratt own two vineyards in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, the Uley and Bonython, and after my visit here in February 2006 I have to say this homestead and vineyard is probably the most beautiful and picturesque that I have visited throughout Australia and that's some compliment. Cool climate wines of epic proportions.

"Wonderful exuberant, minerally Sauvignon that impresses with its vitality from the single vineyard Bonython vineyard. I am not normally a massive fan of this varietal but this wine really does knock me sideways with its length and energy. Bramley apples and hints elderflower and gooseberries yet with an added tropical pineapple depth. Gorgeous with a dozen Colchester natives or Belons down at Wright Brothers in Borough market or my old haunt Bibendum Oyster Bar."

Piccadilly Sunrise Rose
"Classy rose for the summer of 2006. This wine is made from Pinot noir which emphasises its quality. Pure strawberry juice! Unlike many roses this wine is made from some of the very best vineyard fruit and the grapes are grown purely for the purpose of making this wine. More extensive tasting notes to follow after its arrival in July 2006"

Please ask for delivery rates at the time of ordering. Delivery from the “ Whirly Van” will be charged at £7.50 plus VAT.
