Tramillon 2005 

" New vintage of this exciting blend that has now been in the UK top end restaurant and hotel market for 2 years. Lychee, floral and spicy with a stonger hint of elderflower this year." 

75% Gewurtztraminer and 25% Semillon. Floral, limes and elderflower on the nose, with extra depth given by the Semillon. Covers that “ off Dry” crowd that are sometimes so hard to look after. Great pouring wine for all year round, especially the summer and a wonderful alternative to Champagne.

Chardonnay 2005

"Straw colour with a green tint. Ripe fruit, hints of citrus, peach, melon and cucumber. The finish is flinty and dry"

“A great example of warm climate Australian Chardonnay. Picked early in February, oaked for a short period of time so the wine still retains its citrus freshness. Straw coloured with a green tint. Blossom, flowers with hints of lime, peach, melon and banana. The finish is flinty and dry. Alcohol: 15% vol”

Sauvignon 2006 Vintage

"Straw coloured with a gooseberry and tropical fruit. Dry finish."

 “A great example of warm climate Australian Sauvignon, picked early in January to ensure freshness and cleanliness. Not as fragrant as its counterpart from New Zealand with less Elderflower perfumes. Straw coloured with hints of pineapple, gooseberry and tropical fruit. Alcohol: 13% vol.”

1995 VP, Fortified Shiraz.

Great caramelly, rich, slightly spicy wine that is perfect with Colston Basset Stilton or Hot Chocolate fondant. A really exciting wine that is making a bit of a name for itself.

This wine is another gem of a wine that is now virtually sold out. Limited to 3 bottles per person.

I have just tasted the 2006 Noble Blend as well as the 1998 VP (which is now a blended Fortified Cabernet and Chambourcin) and their quality was, as to be expected, quite superb.

Wines will be delivered, where possible, within 48 hours but this cannot be guaranteed. The majority of deliveries throughout the UK will be charged at a set rate of £9.95 plus VAT but this depends on the number of cases ordered and exactly where the delivery is to in the UK. Please ask for delivery rates at the time of ordering. Delivery from the “ Whirly Van” will be charged at £7.50 plus VAT.
